Yesterday we got together to take a last group photo before summer. A few of us still have finals tomorrow, but we are all almost finished with our first year of college. It is hard to believe that a year of school has gone by! I am so blessed to have met each and every one of them!

DePuppies, bike rides, and yummy food?! Finals week has started off right! Before Hattie and Leeann took their first final, we stopped in front of Roy to play with the adorable little puppies and de-stress. After they finished their exams, Kailyn and I joined them for a bike ride, using the yellow rental bikes from the Inn at DePauw. Finally, to finish off the day, we drove to Plainfield for our last dinner at Red Robin. YUM!

In celebration of each of our birthdays, we went to Almost Home for a delicious, non-Hub meal. It was nice to set aside time during these busy days of school to enjoy each others’ company. The conversation was lovely and, of course, the dessert was amazing!

Hattie, myself, Leeann, and Ellen went to Dairy castle to celebrate Hattie’s 19th birthday. Hattie fittingly chose birthday cake ice cream. Happy Birthday Hattie! xoxo

Through DePauw’s Ubben Lecture Series, we had the opportunity to hear Dr. Jane Goodall give her lecture “Sowing the Seeds of Hope.” Dr. Goodall spoke of her love of animals from childhood to her hopes she has for the future. Ellen was able to listen to Dr. Goodall speak twice, first through Environmental Fellows and then at the lecture, and talk with her at the book signing. What an inspirational woman!

Kailyn ran in Alpha Chi’s STRUTathon this morning. The event, put on with the Putnam County Family Support Services, was held to raise domestic violence awareness.

Sigma Chi’s Derby Days Dance Competition was tonight! Hattie was a Bond girl and I was leopard, our themes being James Bond and Can’t Be Tamed respectively.

Sorry for the late post! Delta Gamma had their formal this past weekend, too. Leeann and Danielle got to party with the dolphins at the Indianapolis Zoo!

Look who came! Treh is on spring break right now and is visiting Hattie. We are currently getting pizza at Monical’s. Yum!

Remember last weekend how we went to the Indiana State Museum? Well, Hattie and the back of our heads made it into the Indianapolis Star!
